'Chasing Kites' is a song that I wrote a few years ago, it was one of the first few that I wrote for myself as a singer. What moves me about releasing this is that it was motivated and inspired by people's reactions to hearing the demo I had originally recorded for it. Sometimes we stow away our creative ideas thinking they're not quite "sharing-ready", it feels pretty special to get this out to the world.

'Chasing Kites' was recorded entirely on my Twitch channel (the VODs are still up and if you watch this a month or so after the release then they might be up on my YouTube somewhere).

I made the artwork and animation in the video on Procreate, I've been really inspired by anime aesthetic lately. I love how an image can tell an entire story and so that was the vibe I wanted to capture. I hope you enjoy it!
